The Years I Spent Inside My Own Novel

This is a game that only writers can take part in. On the first day she qualified to play, Jiang Ruye entered the world she had written and was scared half to death by the characters she had created. "Wait, why are your eyebrows two willow leaves? Why are your lips five-petaled cherry blossoms? Why are your eyes like two stars, Jupiter on the left and Saturn on the right?!" --Well, that's what you get for being a writer of cringe-worthy fiction. Her fellow writer and friend tried to comfort her. "Look on the bright side. Just look at the characters I've created: this one's imposing, that one's a hidden talent waiting for the right moment, the third one blooms late, and the fourth one's a finely crafted instrument..." Jiang Ruye: "Wait, why are you describing them all with the word 'instrument'?" Teammate: "Maybe... because I write smut?" Blurb dated 2020.3.17, saved for the record. A novel with the same premise was published on 2014.02.15. Theme: Do every task carefully, and be a sincere person.
