Wenxian's Beloved Life in the Qing Dynasty

My new story next door, “Transmigrated as Hong Shi’s Wife as a Fan of the Fourth Prince,” is now underway. If you’re interested, come take a look! Her father is Kangxi, her mother is Consort De, and she was raised by the Empress Dowager. The next emperor is her own brother. She enjoys the emperor’s favor and has no worries about being married off to Mongolia. That’s right, she has transmigrated into the beloved but tragically short-lived Princess Gurun Wenxian! To make sure her life of luxury lasts as long as possible, Moyaqi tossed aside her books, picked up a riding crop, and trained her little body with everything she had. At last, she became more Mongolian than the Mongolian princesses, with a fierce reputation that shook the court. She thought that since even an emperor’s daughter could have trouble finding a husband, she could happily remain an unmarried royal. But then... A steady stream of people came asking for an imperial marriage decree, and warriors from every family were constantly fighting over her??? Little scene: When Wenxian was young, the Empress Dowager Renxian, Kangxi, Consort De, and the Fourth Prince gathered together, looking at one another with worry. “Wenxian has such a strong Manchu noblewoman’s bearing. It’ll be hard to find her a husband!” So, should they issue an imperial decree arranging her marriage? Have the empress dowager choose a husband? Or look among the eligible young men of the Uya clan? If all else failed, they could find a good match among the Fourth Prince’s retainers. When Wenxian came of age, the four bigwigs met again. Kangxi hid from his ministers, Renxian hid from her grandchildren visiting from Khorchin, and Consort De stopped even seeing her sisters-in-law. The Fourth Prince silently drew his sword. “What gutter rat dares set his sights on my little sister?” PS: An alternate-history Qing dynasty transmigration story, very, very loosely based on history. My new book, “The Beloved Princess Who Masters the Culinary Arts” A naturally gifted martial artist transmigrates into the Qing dynasty and becomes the newly betrothed wife of Hongzhou, the Fifth Prince. That man who loves his wine, enjoys holding funerals for himself and eating the offerings, and likes listening to his wife and children mourn him? The one who dares to beat up grand councilors in court, and is so absurd that he’ll go down in history? Shushu: Even if my absurd strength makes it hard to find a partner, I still don’t want to settle for this guy! Her future mother-in-law weeps as she lists the members of their family and extended clan. Shushu has no choice but to return to her old way of using force to make people listen, and set the absurd prince straight. Hold funerals and eat the offerings? Not a chance. Whoever makes this princess cry will be beaten until they’re bawling like a dog! The Fifth Prince’s wife is so brave that the whole world condemns her. But then... Her steelmaking method strengthens the military, her watches are more refined than those brought from the West, and even the servants at the Fifth Prince’s residence can defeat the Eight Banners troops. The emperor praises her again and again. The Fifth Prince, who once resisted the match with all his might, comes around and turns into his wife’s biggest fan. “A henpecked husband? Afraid of my wife? That’s all a rumor! With a wife like mine, you can understand the joy of winning without lifting a finger.” “Look at me. I’m still young, and I’m already the retired emperor!” That’s right, it’s a cheerful story about Shushu using force to win people over, training her husband and raising her children, and accidentally changing the fate of a certain emperor. Yongzheng skips over Hongzhou and passes the throne straight to her son. A super-strong heroine who’d rather throw a punch than waste words X a lazy hero who’s cheeky and timid in front of her. PS: The hero has two palace maids early on who are nominal partners in name only. The heroine later marries them off, so this is 1v1. Theme: Strive to live a life that shines in your own way.
