Divine Favor

I'm going to update the new story for a while first, so this one will have to wait... I tried writing a little, but it's been too difficult. Let me write something else for a while to clear my head. I'm sorry! I'll slowly finish updating it. - When Mixi was six, he followed his friends into the Church of Holy Light. The God of Light happily bestowed a divine oracle, and from then on Mixi became the Holy Son of the Church of Holy Light. Six years later, at twelve, Mixi defected from the Church of Holy Light and plunged straight into the Church of Dark Night. The God of Shadows was thrilled and announced on the spot that from that day forward, Mixi would be the Holy Son of the Church of Dark Night! Just two years later, at fourteen, Mixi defected from the Church of Dark Night and ran off to the Church of Nature. The Earth Mother led a host of elves in welcoming him with open arms. In less than a year, Mixi defected from that church too. And again. And again. Over the course of twenty years, Mixi made the rounds of all the major churches, becoming a Holy Son eight times and a Chosen of the Gods twelve times. And then... He killed every god. "You finally made it this far," said the God of Fate before falling. "Congratulations, future one and only supreme god." Mixi smiled. "You're wrong again." "This world doesn't need gods." Those who imprison thought, place themselves above others, usurp power, and disrupt order are doomed to perish. Only when the age of the gods comes to an end can free thought take flight. Theme: A discussion about faith.
