"If you want to go home, then go save people, to atone for the unforgivable sins you committed in your previous life. That's right, go save people."
My name is Qimu Yingzhi, the second son of the Qimu family. I have an incredibly kind, genius scientist for an older brother, an incredibly cute psychic little brother, an incredibly gentle mom, an incredibly hardworking dad, and incredibly wonderful grandparents!
I'm truly happy!
But while I was celebrating my eighteenth birthday with my family...
I had to say goodbye to them forever.
I wasn't murdered, I didn't take my own life, I wasn't sick, and there was no natural disaster. It felt as if I'd fallen into a void, my legs light and powerless.
There, I regained my memories of my previous lives.
Qimu Yingzhi, the second older brother of the protagonist in The Disastrous Life of Saiki K., is diligently getting by in another world.
In his first life, Qimu Yingzhi was named Tongzhi. He was a century-long janitor for a certain evil cult. He had an older brother, a white-haired man. His brother lacked emotions, while he was overflowing with them.
On the night Tongmo became a demon, perhaps feeling too lonely, he persuaded his boss to turn Yingzhi into a demon, too. Yingzhi drifted through several hundred years in a daze, until a girl wearing a butterfly-patterned haori cut off his head with pity in her eyes.
In his second life, Qimu Yingzhi was named Heize Zhi. He was a human guinea pig for a certain distillery, and he had an older brother again, still white-haired, who also worked at the distillery.
The moment he refused to point his weapon at the young Heize Zhen, he knew he wouldn't last at the distillery. This life was short. He died of drug poisoning and was hastily buried.
In his third life, Qimu Yingzhi was named Komaeda Yingzhi. He was a student at a certain super high school. Once again, he had an older brother, invariably white-haired, who attended the same school.
He walked into the school full of anticipation as the "Ultimate Artist," only to discover that the school had no hope, only despair.
To return home, Qimu Mingzhi began a second run through his previous lives.
"Mr. Tolstoy once said, 'The more serious and difficult the situation, the more we need to be determined, positive, and bold.'"
"I don't think I'll give up, because I've seen the light. Even if I fly into the flames, I won't hesitate. Look, the sky is a beautiful blue, the clouds are a pure white, and the sun shines warmly upon the earth. How benevolent it is! Listen, the birds are singing, the children are laughing, and the waves are still crashing. Smell that? The fragrance of flowers, the scent of grass, and the warm smell of home..."
"I'm grateful to Heaven for bringing me into this world, so I could experience its beauty for myself!"

A few things to note:
1. Qimu Nanyu and Qimu Kongzhu will go to the other world to help.
2. Xiao Jiu isn't planning to write angsty teen fiction, though the male lead has very high Ne-Fi (?).
3. The cover is from Neka, and I've purchased the license.
4. I'll start writing this after the college entrance exams.
Theme: It may rain in your eyes, but you aren't afraid, because you know there's a giant umbrella held up in your heart.
