First, let me explain why I've decided to rewrite this. I wrote this set of 100 questions after finishing one of my short stories and before I began the long novel Tian Ruo. I happened to see another couple's set of 100 questions and couldn't resist writing this one for Kang Huang. When I finished it, I thought it was fine. But now that I've been working on Tian Ruo for a while, looking back at these questions, they feel more and more wrong. After thinking it over carefully, I finally figured out why.
The biggest problem with these 100 questions is when they were written: after the short story, but before the long novel Tian Ruo. In other words, the foundation for the Kang Huang in these questions was actually the Kang Huang from the short story, not the Kang Huang from the main story of Tian Ruo... Now that the main story has grown so long, even though the couple's personalities are the same, the foundations of their relationship are worlds apart. The Kang Huang in Tian Ruo have a much deeper bond than the ones in the short story, so these questions, written with the short-story versions in mind, feel wrong no matter how I look at them... I have to revise them, but I don't know when I'll get around to it. I'll lock the story first and deal with it later. That's the situation, everyone. I'll keep working hard... T____T
Calling this an extra for the main story of Tian Ruo feels a little awkward, since it's not in the format of a proper novel. But it seems a shame to abandon it without posting it. This may be the only set of 100 questions I ever write, and it was so painful and difficult to write. That's what happens with this couple, Kang Huang...
One more thing: the 100 questions will remain a provisional version until the main story of Tian Ruo is finished. The second half especially involves events from the second part of Tian Ruo, after Tian Ba enters the palace. If the second half of the questions really does change, that means there may actually be an end in sight for this long novel, Tian Ruo...
