If You Dare, Don't Think About Me

After two years by Chen Ye's side, Xie Baonan still held on to one beautiful dream: winning his heart.

Even though he said he didn't believe in love.

She held her sincere feelings with care, thinking that if she just kept at it, one day Chen Ye would love her.

Until one gloomy evening, she saw Chen Ye sitting lazily on the sofa, the corner of his mouth lifting as he said, "Even if I wanted to get married, there's no reason to marry an uneducated country girl."

She laughed bitterly and finally understood: some people simply have no heart.

Her dream shattered. She neither cried nor made a scene.

She left without a word, not even saying goodbye.

That should have been the end of their story, but after she left, Chen Ye went mad.

In the emptiness of his life, Chen Ye missed the girl who used to wait up for him late at night.

So he pursued her, apologized, set aside his pride, and threw away his dignity.

He tried everything, but she never came back.

When they met again, Xie Baonan had won an award at a competition and become a rising star.

Independent and confident, young and beautiful, she had admirers everywhere.

On that rainy night, Chen Ye saw Xie Baonan holding another man's arm, and his suppressed feelings finally broke free. He trapped her in his arms and demanded fiercely, "Didn't you say you liked me?"

There was no trace of her old infatuation in Xie Baonan's clear eyes. "I don't like you anymore."

He couldn't tell if it was rain or tears. He could only repeat under his breath, "But I love you."

Later, rumors spread that business tycoon Chen Ye had fallen for a young woman.

Cold-hearted as he was, he couldn't forget her. He would even risk everything he had just to make her smile.
