Hua Jiu is livestreaming an alchemy session when a pair of cat ears suddenly pop out on top of his head.

Hua Jiu freezes, then quickly snaps out of it and yells anxiously to the side, “Big cat, quick, quick! Come help me cover my ears!”

Then hundreds of millions of fans see the infamous tyrant appear in the livestream with a sour expression.

The entire Council of Elders goes wild: “Aah! Is that our adorable empress?!”

Hua Jiu’s fans go wild too: “Aah! Tyrant, let go of our baby!”

*, The daily mutual pampering of a cutie and a big cutie, with plenty of moments where the seme eats his words.

*, Chapter 12 contains a potentially upsetting scene: the uke nearly kills the seme. Read with caution if this bothers you. A brief explanation: spirit cats are prey for fierce beasts and their natural enemies. The uke attacks because he predicts the beast can’t escape, and because he has a grudge against fierce beasts (not this particular seme). It’s not as simple as a righteous cultivator killing a demon on sight.

Jing Nian transmigrates into the body of a dragon hatchling and shares it with the little dragon.

Every player wants to get the first kill on the dragon. A hundred-player raid charges toward the jaws of the Abyss, but they’re too scared to go in and end up breaking the little pudgy dragon’s teething board.

Jing Nian, who discovers he has transmigrated into the game: “…I want to cry even more.”

Huo Yi loses a dragon egg, then finally finds it in a full-dive online game in a low-dimensional world: a baby dragon flapping its little wings with all its might, unable to fly, and crying until it blows a snot bubble.

It’s one thing for it to be chubby… but it’s 200 years old and still a crybaby?

Raise a dragon? Huo Yi turns and walks away.

Of course, after going to so much trouble to get the dragon egg, abandoning it is out of the question.

Jing Nian doesn’t want to be treated as a boss for players to farm, so every night while the little dragon is asleep, he sneaks out to cling to a powerful player. “Big shot, I’ll tell you a secret. Will you protect me?”

Huo Yi has long since noticed something strange about the soul inside his dragon egg. He answers without showing it: “Let’s hear it.”

As the hundred-player raid approaches again, Jing Nian decides to sell out the pudgy little dragon to save his own skin. “Actually, I’m just a stray soul inside the Abyssal Dragon. I can help you bind the dragon with a contract.”

Huo Yi’s gaze turns inscrutable. “Good.”

After a little sea otter gains a human form, he’s confused and clueless when an immortal fox spirit forces him into a job.

Competing on a certain talent show.

The little sea otter clutches his crumpled application form. “But… I need to find my mom.”

Thousands upon thousands of fans watch their adorable, strong-but-tragic baby clutch his trophy and scamper offstage straight into the arms of the show’s biggest investor. He says joyfully, “Mom! This is for you!”

The fans are completely baffled: Our baby?

…He calls this cold-faced, handsome, wealthy man, who is male and 1.9 meters tall… Mom?

And even more outrageous…

The cold-faced CEO catches the baby and smiles with a look of “loving kindness”…
