The Villainous Big Shot Is a Beacon of the Righteous Path

Only the first volume of this story is complete. The new map will be covered in a new story.

Blurb: Mo Changqing transmigrates into a cannon-fodder character who only lives for three lines in the book. According to the plot, she will hand her golden finger to the male lead in a ruined temple, then die with hatred in her heart.

After countless failed attempts to change the plot, Mo Changqing curses the useless Heavenly Dao and prepares to give in. Then she's struck by lightning. When she wakes up, she finds that the male lead who used to keep watch over her corpse has been replaced by someone else?

The man before her is as clear and bright as the moon, a noble gentleman radiating the sort of upright virtue that inspires trust. Mo Changqing shoves the golden finger into his hand. "A token of my thanks."

She'll find a new son for that blind Heavenly Dao!

Later, when the aloof, otherworldly man is revered by millions of demons as their lord, Mo Changqing finally realizes that she's the one who was blind. She personally brought the Demon Lord, who was supposed to die young, back to life.

She wants to find the world a beacon of righteousness, but diligently sends the villain soaring to the heavens instead.

Heavenly Dao: If you offer yourself to him, you'll get a demon who loves you. Want to give it a try?

Mo Changqing: Sword cultivators don't need feelings. Men only slow down my sword. I'll personally cut down the monster born because of me.

Many years later, Mo Changqing suddenly realizes that, going by the character setup alone, she, standing against the male lead, seems more like the greatest villain of all. Meanwhile, the demon who once sought to destroy the world gently advises her, "Don't fight. Come on, sit down and talk it over."

Ha! The beacon of righteousness she found for this world really was the right choice.

***Xie Guiqi's changing status: cast aside by the Heavenly Dao -> adopted by the Heavenly Dao -> rebel against the Heavenly Dao -> dead to the Heavenly Dao...
