[Ace Attorney Fanfiction] Wish You Were Here (NaruMitsu, Klapollo, Edgeworth X Franziska)

Seven years ago, because of a conspiracy, Naruhodo Ryuuichi left his career as a lawyer. “The man who plotted against me and framed me was my friend for seven years, but I never trusted him for a single moment... Nor did I ever stop hating him...” “I will never forgive him. Even if I send him to the gallows, I will go on cursing his soul.” “But why, Naruhodo? Why do you hate someone so much?” “Because... because of that man, Mitsurugi left my side forever...” Seven years later, when the truth finally comes to light, the real culprit behind it all wears an expression of despair unlike anything seen before. “From today on, you are no longer my little brother.” “So get out! ...I never want to see you again.” “The Magatama lets you see the ‘psychological locks’ in people’s hearts. Finding clues and breaking those locks is the path to the ‘truth.’” “But Kiryu Kirihito is the only person with psychological locks that cannot be broken.” That’s right. All these years, you’ve refused to come to my concerts. I know you’re actually afraid... “What are you running from, Kirihito?” (I just want to tell you...) At the end of the final concert, everyone saw the man with the microphone drop his guitar and weep uncontrollably. Odoroki could only watch in silence as Kyoya stared each day at a photo of the two of them, his eyes growing ever more desolate. There was nothing he could do. (I can’t save him, or stop him from sinking deeper into the abyss of his memories.) (Unless...?) “...If I told you I loved you, could you stop being sad...?” This story is based on Capcom’s Ace Attorney game series. It takes place between the first and fourth games (2016–2026), and also includes plot elements from Rise from the Ashes. Note: Since the original story spans a long period and jumps around in time, this work will occasionally include time and location cues modeled on the original.
