God of Slaughter [Infinite]

The Earth Assessment [Infinite] is the next story in the series:

[1]

Human civilization reached a turning point, and the cosmic civilization ranking assessment System descended. Intelligent beings across the world were drawn into the evaluation.

What no one knew was that souls from a dimension beyond humanity were beginning to awaken.

Some had been consumed by powerful obsessions in life; others had been protected from fading away by the strength of their loved ones' longing.

Above the sky, invisible to human eyes, countless black lines formed a web that enveloped the entire Earth.

[The System has officially arrived on Earth.]

[Ding! Intelligent beings other than living creatures detected.]

[Classification: Souls.]

[Possess intelligence: Yes.]

[Processing plan: Enter special assessment mode.]

[Each soul must choose whether to take the exam, obtain a body, and return to the world of the living.]

[2]

The rules that had been passed down and followed by custom for many years gained a spirit over time, becoming a dense web. The assessment System called this web the "Divine Network."

Everyone lived within the Divine Network.

After a long stretch of darkness, Qin Yao opened her eyes and heard the System's voice:

[Soul detected: Qin Yao.]

[Possess intelligence: Yes.]

[Will you take the Earth Assessment?]

Qin Yao chose [Yes].

From then on, she embarked on a long journey to shatter the Divine Network and return to the world of the living.

Content warnings:

1. The assessment System's world is the "Dark Side" setting.

2. The story's premise came from an idea I had during the 2018 college entrance exams. Please don't bring drama here.
