A Celestial Master's Field Report

Because of his obsession with Daoism and his poor college entrance exam results, Tao Lin enrolled in the Daoism department of a university with a name that sounded downright sketchy. He had already prepared himself to work hard and fend for himself, but... QAQ Is something not quite right about this school? Exchange student, why don't you have a shadow? Class monitor, your tail is showing! Teacher, what do you mean our homework is to turn ourselves into peach trees?! It's called the Daoism department, but really it's a Celestial Masters academy. The students are all demons and other nonhumans. Tao Lin finally understands why, after the founding of the nation, spirits were forbidden from cultivating into human form: they all switched careers and became Celestial Masters! It's tough being a demon these days. Even switching careers to become a Celestial Master means competing for a job. He heard the turtle spirit in the neighboring Zhouyi department has already been held back for fifty years! Tao Lin anxiously feels his receding hairline. Can he really graduate from this school alive? Luckily, when your fundamentals are lacking, your advisor makes up for it! As the only human student on campus, Tao Lin gets to enjoy the perks of the privileged class: a one-on-one mentor who's a total big shot. You deserve one too! [Thumbs up] Though this big shot has a bit of a temper, sets the bar a little high, has a somewhat macho taste in aesthetics, and is even dating his student. But, but, but... he can't keep making excuses. What did he even see in him back then? Maybe it was his handsome face. #MyLooksObsessionRuinedMyLife# #NeverDateYourAdvisor# #ProfessorSun,WhatKindOfDemonAreYouExactly# Domineering, handsome top who moonlights as a mentor x sweet, Daoist-minded Celestial Master apprentice bottom Theme: Moving forward together and building a harmonious society
