Song of Genesis

Did the fires of war from long ago burn on into the present, becoming the final tears of the gods' beloved?

Did the glory of ages past endure to this day, becoming the tempting smile of the Devil's child?

The marks left by the godly generals of old shine brightly on their successors today.

Are they halos of sin, or sacred blessings?

Whatever they may be, the godly generals' radiance will never fade, even if civilization falls apart, even if a god becomes a demon.

This is the story of what happened before the Messenger of God was sealed away. It will become a legend of the future, passed down from mouth to mouth, until it finally vanishes into the river of time.

Yet even when the verses perish, the ancient marks will never be erased, whether they are wounds or joys, curses or blessings.

Why did Tia Grant become the gods' beloved, and why was Cain's soul sealed inside her?

Why did Clovis Brasley become a divine weapon, and why was he born into this world as Lucifer's successor?

Why did Sid Corosna become an apostle of light, and why did he possess Raphael, only to be possessed by Raphael in turn?

The roots of it all will be revealed in ancient myths.

It was an age before gods became gods,

an age before demons took shape,

where Abel, the other half Cain would lose forever, still lived.

The Song of Origin is sung here.
