Friends Through Thick and Thin

The invasion of monsters ushered in an era of superpowers.

During the final, glorious battle, Shao Yuan, the strongest superpowered person in history, was gravely wounded and fell into a coma, his body barely clinging to life.

Shao Yuan's soul drifted outside the hospital room and sighed dejectedly. "I think there's still time to save me..."

Meanwhile, his close friend Yao Gu, who had fought by his side, miraculously woke up after a month in a coma.

In Shao Yuan's eyes, his friend Yao Gu was a cold person who spoke in brief, blunt, and cutting sentences.

He never expected that after he died, Yao Gu would go mad, take his body away, and sleep beside it night after night.

At the same time, Yao Gu began writing a book based on the two of them.

His words were still brief, blunt, and cutting, but every line overflowed with tenderness and passionate love.

He said, "Shao Yuan hates people who wallow in self-pity and can't make up their minds."

So his writing seemed on the verge of collapse at every moment, yet remained extremely calm and meticulously ordered.

Shao Yuan: "..."

Shao Yuan was utterly baffled.

It was nice to have his friend shower him with praise, but something about this didn't seem right...
