Copy and Paste in the Cultivation World

While gaming, Bai Shu accidentally fell off his chair with his keyboard in his hands. It smacked him in the face, scattering the keycaps everywhere.

He staggered to his feet, dizzy, with three keys stuck to his hand.

Ctrl, C, V.

Then a flash of white light.

He transmigrated to the cultivation world.

.

The good news: he transmigrated with a copy-and-paste golden finger.

A super-rich immortal's son with his nose in the air: "This is the top-grade immortal artifact my father left me when he ascended. There's only one in the world, and it's incredibly amazing..."

Someone put the copied artifact into his Qiankun pouch. "Oh, now there are two in the world."

A super-powerful figure who ran a sect: "This is our sect's sacred treasure. The lives of our countless disciples are protected by it..."

Someone fiddled with the sect's sacred treasure. "...How do you use this thing again?"

A highly sought-after, senior weapon refiner: "This is my magnum opus, the finest work of my entire career as a weapon refiner..."

Someone: "Too long, didn't listen. Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V!"

Awesome!

Looks like I'm about to become overpowered, right?

Looks like I'm about to reach the pinnacle of life, right?

Nope.

.

Because there was bad news, too:

For some reason, while transmigrating, Bai Shu copied and pasted himself while he was all woozy.

And then there were two Bai Shus in the world.

"Get out of here, you counterfeit copy-paste impostor! The keycaps are mine!"

"Who are you calling an impostor? How do you know you're the original and not me?"

Neither Bai Shu would give an inch, and each was convinced he was the real one.

Since one of them had the C key and the other had the V key when they first arrived, while both were holding onto the Ctrl key with their free hands, they reached a temporary agreement.

The Bai Shu holding the C key changed his name to Bai Sui. (Bai C)

The Bai Shu holding the V key changed his name to Shu Wei. (Shu V)

.

And so the two identical geniuses set off to make their way through the cultivation world, without getting along particularly well!

A self-cest story where the protagonist doesn't love himself very much at first.

#You know what kind of trash I am, and I know what kind of garbage you are#

#Which one of us is worse?#

#You do the dishes##No way#

#Wow, that's awesome##Get lost! I want it##Come fight me##Forget it, let's play rock-paper-scissors#

#It's a fifty-fifty chance either way#

Switch. Happy ending.
