The Wild History of Roses

On the day of the company annual party, Ji Jia got dumped. Wearing a little dress, she stood in the company smoking area, crying her eyes out. Halfway through her sobs, the smoke beside her made her snort a snot bubble. She turned her head and saw an extraordinarily handsome face. In the bitter cold of winter, the handsome guy was wearing only black dress pants and a thin white shirt, which even had a red wine stain on it. A flood of steamy drawing ideas flashed through her mind. Ji Jia asked, "Are you a cosplayer hired to perform, or a waiter?" The other person fell silent for two seconds. "I'm an ordinary cosplayer who works as a waiter on the side to make ends meet. My family is poor, I'm deep in debt, and good looks are all I have going for me. What can I do for you?" "Oh. Here's the thing." Ji Jia immediately wiped away her tears. "I'm an ordinary artist. I think you're really handsome, and I wanted to ask if you'd be willing to model for me. Two hundred an hour. You'd make money faster than serving drinks." "..." . Two months later, Ji Jia, a well-known artist with millions of Weibo followers, was invited to join the art department of Shenghe Group's top game studio. The lead artist took her to meet the producer, repeatedly warning her, "Our producer has a pretty bad temper, and he hates people lusting after his looks. Be careful when you meet him." Ji Jia nodded solemnly and pushed open the office door. "Hello, boss. I'm..." Behind the broad desk, the man rolled up his sleeves and gave her a faintly amused look. "Long time no see, ordinary artist." "...Long time no see, ordinary cosplayer." Theme: Life is never afraid to start over
