Tricking Cubs in the Beast World

Gao Xuanji, a ninth-level fire-type esper from the apocalypse, was taking a bath at home when her bathtub opened into the ocean and she nearly drowned.

The one who saved her was a mermaid with a beautiful silver tail and breathtaking looks, as cool and ethereal as a celestial being, but not exactly bright.

Worried that the silly child would be tricked by a human prince, have his heart broken, and turn into sea foam, Gao Xuanji tells him stories from The Little Mermaid every day, warning him that humans are cunning and love to toy with little mermaids' feelings.

She roasts a fish to trick the kid, makes shell soup to trick him, all so he'll get a taste of the harsh world and learn to be wary.

Later... she was the one tricked by the silly child :)

Siren, king of the merfolk, picked up a human. None of the sea folk paid any mind to the frail human who wouldn't last a minute in the ocean if they tossed her out. Who could have guessed...

On the first day the human arrived, Siren got diarrhea and gave her a shell bed.

On the second day, Siren got diarrhea again and gave her a merfolk pearl.

On the third day, Siren caught a cold, but still gave her merfolk silk!

Gradually, a rumor spread among the sea folk: Our merfolk king, Siren, is a masochist!

Masochist Siren: "..." He grabbed the rumor-monger and gave him a harsh taste of the real world.

Before long, the entire merfolk clan, which hadn't had a baby in three hundred years, went into an uproar, because the human they'd brought back was pregnant!

And! She! Still! Wants! To! Go! Ashore!

#Isn't the merfolk king good enough for you?!#

#Isn't King Siren handsome, beautiful, and powerful?!#

#Human, why did you toy with our King Siren's feelings?!#
