Shi Zhaoxue is a hugely popular screenwriter, but inspiration doesn’t come easily. To find ideas for her new film, she travels alone to an island.
A few days later, she meets a man: tall and handsome, with a pair of ocean-blue eyes set in an East Asian face.
She wants him, and she also wants to use him, so Shi Zhaoxue doesn’t hesitate to dive into the sea and swim over to him.
By day, she sticks close to him in search of inspiration. By night, she clings to him and sets the long hours alight.
Just before she leaves, on a whim, Shi Zhaoxue asks, “What’s your wish? I’ll make it come true.”
The man blinks his blue eyes and keeps her guessing. “I’ll tell you in a couple of days.”
Shi Zhaoxue deliberately doesn’t tell him that she’ll be heading home in a couple of days.

Later, when filming begins and the creative team gathers, Shi Zhaoxue never expects to meet the man again.
He has been hired by the production as a consultant for a hefty fee. He’s internationally renowned and worth his weight in gold.
Aside from work, Shi Zhaoxue and the man have no interaction, until she goes on a blind date.
To her surprise, her date doesn’t show up. He does.
He raises his wine glass and quietly offers a toast: “To picking up where we left off.”
Feeling guilty and angry, Shi Zhaoxue asks, “What exactly are you trying to do?”
The man smiles, lifts her chin, and gently kisses her.
Those blue eyes gleam with mischief, brighter than ever. “You still owe me a wish. If you’ve forgotten, I’ll help you remember.”
