[The earlier preview from a few years ago has been replaced because I couldn’t write it without inspiration. The original premise and setting were very different from the current version, so I apologize for any inconvenience to readers who had bookmarked it.]
The newly launched undercover System 007 takes the advice of a senior and decides to bind itself to international police officer Nohara Aoi. Its mission is to infiltrate the Black Organization in the Detective Conan world and help bring it down.
But a miscalculation causes the undercover System 007 to bind itself to Aoi’s older brother, Shinnosuke, and not just any version of him: the five-year-old one.
Thinking of the background information it had already forged, Undercover System 007’s vision went black. The higher-ups in Public Security must be insane to send a five-year-old kindergartener undercover in the Black Organization!
Still, the biggest problem right now was how, with almost all its energy spent, it could get the Black Organization to hire a five-year-old!
Scene One:
When the organization’s interviewer asked Shinnosuke his name, he remembered his mother’s warning not to tell bad guys his real name.
So he told the interviewer his name was “Nohara Shinichi”!
Two years later, when Conan was caught secretly planting a listening device in Gin’s car, he heard a devilish voice on the other end say, “Shinichi-kun, that’s a pretty amateur move.”
Conan’s pupils shook with shock. Why did Gin immediately know he was the one who had tampered with the car?!
Scene Two:
When Curaçao infiltrated the National Police Agency and hacked into the computer containing the list of undercover agents in the Black Organization, she found one agent’s information protected by multiple layers of encryption and disguise. After painstakingly cracking it, she saw the words: “Nohara Shinnosuke, age five, sent undercover...”
Hmm, it looks like this encrypted file hasn’t been completely cracked yet. There must be another disguise!
Reader advisory:
1. The timeline and other details have been adjusted as needed for the characters and plot.
2. No secret identities are revealed in the main story. (Even if someone finds out the truth in Scene Two, they won’t believe it and will just suspect the information is fake.) The secret identity will be revealed voluntarily in the side stories, shocking everyone in Detective Conan.
Theme: Bring down the Black Organization and save the world!
