After falling into the icy lake, Amy March had a long string of very strange dreams. When she woke up, she was different from before.

Many years later, Amy was sorting through Lancelot's early paintings.
"In a vast, barren desert, amid a golden sea of shifting sand, a faintly pink rose is surrounded by thorns, its many layers of petals flecked with crystal-clear dewdrops." Amy studied the corner of the painting. Its title was Amy.
She couldn't help laughing. When she asked him why, Lancelot's pale green eyes grew especially gentle. He casually turned the pages of the book in his hands and replied:
"I would call her the first rose to bloom in a Roman garden, nurtured by stardust and morning dew. The dawn gilds her delicate face with a thin layer of gold. Every other rose withered in the desert, but she alone blossomed into its most beautiful flower."
"You are the rose in my heart."

1. This story is a derivative work of Louisa May Alcott's Little Women, and refers to Wang Zhiguang's translation.
2. The story begins to change after Amy falls into the water and dreams of the future.
3. Amy March stumbles along the road to realizing her dreams. The characters' paths will differ somewhat from the original, and Amy will not marry Laurie (it's a little personal preference of mine. They're both wonderful, but they aren't the best match for each other). Original characters will appear.
4. This is a story world I'm not familiar with, so I researched a lot before writing. I'll include sources where relevant. My writing is just ordinary, so please bear with me!
