[Harry Potter] One Dollar for a Black

1. Many years later, Sirius still couldn't forget the scene from that day. Amid swirling snow and clamorous voices, the girl seemed like the only color in the world.

Sirius froze for a moment. His eyes softened, turning the snowflakes into rippling waves. He flashed his small canine teeth, rare for him, and smiled back.

"Merry Christmas."

My little rainbow.

2. Iris suddenly reached out and tapped Sirius on the arm. He jumped and looked up.

"I was never angry. Sirius, you'll always be my best friend." Iris gazed firmly into the boy's dark eyes. No one's eyes had ever seemed so much like a whirlpool. "I told you before, I'll always be on your side."

3. Regulus hesitated, then said solemnly, "Iris, you'd better not go near a cauldron again."

Iris: ??? Thanks, I feel personally attacked.

I revised the blurb a little on January 29. Maybe now I'll get some favorites and comments? I started writing this because I love the Marauders' generation and every pure, passionate soul in it. I wanted to write about their growth and everyday lives in this story, so it will be a slow burn and not especially plot-driven. I hope every character shines in this story, and I hope you all enjoy it.

The style is serious at times, but I'm aiming for a sweet story. There are some original elements. I won't abandon it. All rights belong to Rowling. I aim to update daily. New writer just getting started, so please be kind and let me know if you spot any issues! Love you all.
