The pocket watch he carried with him began to tick.
The young hypnotist finally set out on his journey,
knocking on the world's door,
stepping into the gaps between time and space.
He feared nothing.
He was single-minded,
jumping down every rabbit hole
to find his own Alice.
This is really just the Mad Hatter transmigrating before he ever makes it to Gotham~
A huge, round rabbit hole appears before him!
The Mad Hatter thinks: My dear Alice must be in there!
So he jumps in without a moment's hesitation.
After trading blows with a certain bald man,
hypnotizing an alien army through a television,
and running into a gentlemanly cannibal psychologist,
he finally finds the Alice he's been longing for at a port in a certain island nation!
Though his Alice seems to have gotten smaller, become a better fighter, stopped bleeding, and acquired a strange lolicon uncle as a companion. Still, the Mad Hatter will make Alice remember. He'll bring her back into the loving arms of her dear big brother!
That's right, I've crossed over X-Men, Marvel, Hannibal, and Bungo Stray Dogs... I might add more later, though that means the Mad Hatter will have to jump down more rabbit holes (grin).
P.S. This is still a Gotham villain fanfic. The protagonist's morals are questionable, his thinking is warped, and he loves courting disaster, but he absolutely, absolutely loves Alice!
