Don't Come Any Closer!

Years ago, when Cen Nian was playing a game, she happened to save a little fox covered in blood and mud, barely clinging to life. Before she quit the game, she kept it by her side for a while. Later, Cen Nian met the fox, now transformed into a human, in a brothel. She watched with her own eyes as the fox-eared youth, his features gentle, did everything he could to flirt, let the female patrons ply him with wine, and deftly undid their belts. Cen Nian nearly tore the roof off the building on the spot. With the last of her traveling money, she bought him out. "From now on, you're coming with me," Cen Nian said. - From the moment Lu Yunsheng was born, all he knew was filth and blood. On that rainy night, soaked through and caked in mud, he fell into a clean embrace. A hand rested on his head, bringing a warmth he'd never known. Lu Yunsheng thought Cen Nian was his light, a divine being sent from heaven to save him. But one day, Cen Nian suddenly vanished, as if she were no more than a reflection of flowers in the water or the moon in a mirror. Lu Yunsheng searched for her like a madman, but no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't find her. Many years later, just as Lu Yunsheng was about to forget her, she appeared before him again like a miracle. For the first time in his life, someone took his hand and told him: "Let's go home."
