You're Not My Type

[Blurb]

Cheng Lan can't understand it. He's completely remade himself and now has money, looks, and the status of a top student and campus heartthrob, envied by everyone. So why does Xinyao, the girl he had a crush on as a child, have no feelings for him at all?

Every time he tries to confess, she shuts him down with, "You're not my type."

All he can do is start as her friend, nursing his unrequited feelings.

Cheng Lan's strong inner monologue:

It's fine. I'm not in a hurry. I'll take my time winning her over.

But Xinyao, tell me, what exactly is your type?

What? Peppa Pig? Fine, I'll dress up as her!

What? Your idol, Xu Kai? Fine, I'll learn to be like him!

What? Your secret crush? You have a secret crush?! ...Oh, I got that wrong.

What? You also have a first love?

Oh my god... Why is that your type? What am I supposed to do with myself?

A doting, secretly flirtatious man x a cool-on-the-outside, warm-on-the-inside woman who's hopelessly clueless
