Treading the Demonic Path

[P.S. This blurb is temporary. I'm really stuck, and I may revise it and adjust the plot points when I start writing. Sorry!]

Blurb:

Miao Jia, a disciple of the Daxing Sect, awoke from a dream one day and realized that her whole life had been a joke.

+

She had thought the master who supposedly loved her hated her, and that she was nothing but a tool for forging swords.

She had thought the senior aunt who was supposedly her mother hated her, and that she was nothing but a bargaining chip to get her biological child back.

She had thought her senior brother was her closest friend, but he betrayed her. She was left covered in wounds, unable to get so much as a single pill, and even caused the death of the aunt who had raised her.

+

But she never expected that her junior sister, the sect's beloved darling whom she had envied and looked up to all her life, would drag her ten miles through the snow back to the sect on the night she was dying and destitute, then exhaust all her spiritual power trying to save her.

+

Watching the medicine fail to help her, her junior sister's tears fell one by one.

+

"Why go to such lengths?"

Reborn into another life, Miao Jia made two decisions:

First, she would make everyone who had hurt her suffer in return.

Second, she would treat her precious junior sister well.

+

So, amid a snowstorm, she shoved aside the disciples trying to shirk responsibility, ventured deep into the snowy wilderness, and rescued her junior sister from beneath a snowdrift. She saw the joy in the other girl's eyes.

Later, the master, senior aunt, and senior brother of the Tianxing Sect went mad, wanting nothing more than a single backward glance from Miao Jia.

But Miao Jia never looked back. With a single sword stroke, she split the heavens and became someone everyone looked up to.

"Junior sister, from now on, we'll live with Auntie." Miao Jia took her junior sister's hand and headed straight into the snowy wilderness.

To her surprise, her junior sister suddenly hugged her and gritted out, "You got it wrong."

"What?"

"Call me junior brother."
