I'm Really Not a Great Demon King

[This blurb was written years ago. Please don't borrow the premise.] Xu Feiran wakes up one day to find the whole world has gone strange. All sorts of inexplicable people keep appearing, claiming that a spiritual qi revival is underway. Every paranormal location has turned into an instance, with difficulty levels ranging from A to SSS. The strangest thing is that these people aren't crazy. Every last one of them is a big shot! A wealthy man who has been reborn says, "I'll give you the whole world. You just have to be happy! And... if you happen to die, remember to protect me!" A superstar who has been reborn says, "As long as you're happy, I'll do anything for you. Just don't be unhappy. But if you die, that's fine too. Remember to protect me!" A certain CEO who has been reborn says, "Here are all my cards. Use them however you like, do whatever you want. I only ask that you..." With a blank expression, the protagonist recites his lines: "If I die, I have to remember to protect you?" The scariest part is that people who look like villains keep kidnapping Xu Feiran and trying to stab him to death, all while earnestly explaining, "Great Demon King, you'll become stronger after you die. Don't worry! We'll always be your loyal lackeys." The protagonist breaks down. "What is wrong with these people?" Everyone wears a complicated expression. "Because in the future, after you die, you'll become a Great Demon King with an SSSSSSSSSSS-level difficulty rating, then destroy the world." Xu Feiran gets a headache and explains again, "You must have the wrong person. I'm really not the Great Demon King." Half a year later, players trapped in a desperate situation look on enviously as all the big shots diligently protect a weak and cautious newcomer. They turn as sour as lemons. The big shots: "We're only protecting world peace!" Theme: You have to be happy in life. Only then can you make the world a better place.
