Yamamoto-kun and Chuunibyou

Yamamoto Takeshi fell in love at first sight with a girl in his class. It happened on the way home from school at the start of the school year.

In a tree, a pink-haired girl held a cat in her arms. Sunlight filtered through the leaves, casting dappled shadows across her delicate face. Her violet eyes were fixed on the ground, as if she were trying to figure out how to get down.

Yamamoto Takeshi was just about to go help when the girl jumped down. It was a fairly tall tree, and gravity sent her hair flying, revealing her smooth forehead.

As light as a breeze, the girl landed on the ground. Seeming to notice someone nearby, she turned around. Her quiet, slightly aloof violet eyes met the boy's.

Yamamoto Takeshi's eyes widened.

The cat ran off, and the pink-haired girl left too, leaving the boy standing there alone, stunned.

He touched his chest. Even now, his heartbeat still wouldn't settle down.

The girl was always distant at school and never got close to anyone. Even someone as sociable as Yamamoto Takeshi couldn't find a chance to approach her.

Then one day, after finishing his club activities, he was about to head home when he realized he'd left his schoolbag in the classroom. He opened the classroom door and saw the girl standing by the window.

“I am the creator of all things, ruler of the world, master of primordial chaos, the Primordial God!”

She spoke in a lively voice utterly unlike her usual self, her violet eyes shining brightly.

Yamamoto Takeshi paused, then smiled. “Hello, Primordial God. I'm the Baseball God!”

1. This story was abandoned because it wasn't very good, but leaving it that way felt wrong, so I'm using it for bonus chapters OuO

2. This is a parallel-world bonus chapter for the chuunibyo story next door. The male lead is Yamamoto Takeshi, and Kuriko in this parallel world has no superpowers.

3. It'll probably be a short story. I'll do my best to make it sweet.
