The whole country criticized and cursed him. Friends and family abandoned him, while his rivals and enemies kicked him when he was down.

He could only go out to deliver food, and even on the job he was stopped by the former company's heir.

"I made up all those scandals about you. What are you going to do about it?" The heir gloated beside Tan Chu's electric scooter. "You still had to leave show business with your tail between your legs!"

Before he could finish, a red-clad vengeful ghost suddenly appeared. The heir shrieked and ran around in a panic, then broke his leg and wound up in the hospital.

Tan Chu had a phone that could connect to the world of the dead, complete with all kinds of apps.

In his spare time between shoots, he sometimes watched livestreams from the other world, browsed their version of Taobao, or even delivered food to ghosts to pass the time.

That was until the day he was disgraced and ruined in show business.

After repeatedly failing to get his career back on track, Tan Chu had a sudden inspiration.
