Shocking! The Male Lead Is a Stick Figure
The stick-figure male lead and his soul's artist
Blurb
As an utterly ordinary, unambitious, mild-mannered second-generation cultivator, Yuan Qing had no grand ambitions. For years, the only thing she'd stuck with was collecting precious treasures, magical artifacts, formations, and sword manuals. In other words, saving up.
One day, she suddenly remembered that she was a cannon-fodder character in a cultivation novel. After learning that the original male lead would occupy her cave abode, squander her spirit stones, and give away her magical artifacts as favors after she went missing, Yuan Qing thought: This is absolutely unforgivable. Had every step she'd worked so hard to take been building up a little nest egg for the original male lead?
Faced with the original male lead, who came at her with the heavens backing him, Yuan Qing patiently tried to talk things out, but these people just wouldn't leave her alone.
Since that was the case, Yuan Qing nodded. So you want to rob me? Fine. Who's afraid of whom? When it comes to looting treasures, she's never lost. She'd like to see whether the male lead inherits her fortune first, or she leaves him penniless!
Years later, someone asked why Senior Sister Yuan seemed to have an endless supply of spirit stones and magical artifacts.
Yuan Qing smiled. She'd only collected a little in compensation for emotional distress from the Son of Heaven's Will.
Mini scene:
Original male lead: I was really wrong. I don't have a single coin on me anymore. Please stop coming after me. I was shameless, vile, and greedy, so please don't come back.
Yuan Qing: There, there. As a male lead, you have to act like one. Take responsibility and show some backbone. Now get to work. You still haven't paid off your debt.
This novel will be available for paid chapters starting July 30, from chapter 28 onward. Please keep supporting it.
Shocking! The Male Lead Is a Stick Figure: Blurb
After transmigrating into a book, cultivation good-for-nothing Lu Xiyue is suddenly recognized as the owner of Ma Liang's Magic Brush.
The Ma Liang Brush is the foremost of the four great artifacts of the cultivation world. It can bring anything it draws to life, and can even help someone ascend to immortality.
Just like that, lonely and friendless Lu Xiyue becomes the target of everyone.
In theory,
anyone who got the Ma Liang Brush should be able to swagger around without a care. After all, someone once nearly recreated an entire cultivation world with it.
However,
Lu Xiyue is hopelessly bad at drawing.
Lu Xiyue: ...All right, the stick figures I draw have come to life.
Lu Xiyue, constantly targeted for murder and robbery: She's having the worst luck ever!!
To stay alive, she has no choice but to improve her drawing skills while being hunted.
Finally, one day, while fleeing her pursuers, she draws an exceptionally nimble stick figure: Little Hei.
Little Hei takes down all the people chasing her in a single move.
With tears in her eyes, Lu Xiyue says: I've finally found you. I'm so glad I didn't give up.
Looking at the handsome black stick figure,
Lu Xiyue: My baby is so handsome! Mommy loves you!
The male lead, who has lost his memory and accidentally drifted into the stick figure's body: ???
He looks at the petite, adorable girl before him, whose eyes are full of affection, and asks in a deeply uncertain voice, "Mother?"
Lu Xiyue pats the stick-figure male lead on the head and cries excitedly, "Son!!"
Later,
the nimble Little Hei transforms into an unparalleled beauty. Most importantly, he has exactly the same face as the male lead.
Lu Xiyue: ??? Where's my stick figure? Where did my nimble, dark-skinned stick figure go?
Lu Xiyue: Aaaah! Give me back my son!!
Little Hei, who has transformed into a real person: How about I give you a husband instead?
The Romance System Wants to Cry Every Day: Blurb
As a romance-strategy System still in its beginner stage,
it bound itself to the female lead before the story began, hoping she'd carry it to victory so it could complete its mission as soon as possible.
However,
before long, the romance progress bar suddenly went negative.
System: ??? What's going on?
How did its sweet, warm female lead become a sword cultivator?
And start picking fights everywhere?
And beat up the male lead?
The exhausted System: This is bad, this is bad. They've made a serious enemy of each other!
The female lead, Song Xu, who was supposed to be gentle and considerate, races ahead on the path of the sword.
At last, the white-moonlight heroine becomes a beacon of righteousness.
System: This is so worrying!!
Its sweetheart heroine is gone!
Then who's going to use love to change the male lead, who's destined to destroy the world?
Song Xu: Destroy the world? Who wants to destroy the world? I'll destroy him first!
And with that, the female lead's route ends in a bad ending.
System: ...
Since the female lead's route won't work, it has to try the male lead's.
The male lead, whom Song Xu has beaten up several times: You want me to fall for her? Dream on!
Later,
the male lead, who was supposed to devote his future to destroying the world,
is forced to embark on a diligent romance-strategy mission.
At the same time, all kinds of beauties appear around Song Xu:
peerlessly beautiful, fabulously wealthy, gentle and considerate, wickedly charming.
Yet none of them can win Song Xu over.
The male lead, who has tried everything: ??? What does she even like?
Male lead: Could she be into women?
The System swears on its own existence through tears: Impossible!!
Romance strategy mini scene:
Seeing no progress for a long time,
the male lead comes up with a desperate ploy to win Song Xu over.
He takes an arrow for her, gets stabbed for her, and shields her from every sharp weapon.
Seeing Song Xu's moved expression,
the male lead asks: Does she like me now?
System: No.
System: Your favorability score actually went down.
Male lead: ???
When she is "rescued,"
Song Xu looks at the figure standing in front of her in disbelief.
Is he looking down on her or something?
Romance strategy System: Deceased.
Theme: Life requires hard work and perseverance
What the hell is this, finally? Is this the end? The unclear ending made me feel like my money was wasted.
Tsk, Xiao is the one who hides the most.
The ending is a bit fast forward, and it feels like there could be a lot more story, but overall it's still watchable ~
The hero never shows up until the last minute. The early and middle stages of the plot were originally great, but why did the last few chapters seem impatient, unsustainable, and ended hastily? Sigh... It's obviously very good.
I haven't officially met the male lead yet.
The ending is a bit sloppy.
Thanks for the limited fee. I feel a little dizzy.
The drama queen is online! Let's see who can add more drama to the show??
Emmmm, how did this guy get into V? It's definitely not this book, right? Click Pingping. Like the article "Plain Water", I skipped many chapters. Maybe I read too many cool articles or something like that. Anyway, thanks for the limited fee.
Hey guys, have my comments been swallowed?
