Desensitization Reaction

Mu Jin never imagined she would run into Jiang Linyuan again. Her unrequited love of five years had drained her of all her feelings. A moth flying into a flame was always doomed to end in nothing. Mu Jin was utterly exhausted. She wanted nothing more to do with anyone surnamed Jiang. She even went out of her way to avoid Jiang's Beef Offal whenever she saw it on the street. * For years, Mu Jin had hoped she could become immune to Jiang Linyuan. She thought that if she stopped listening, looking, and thinking about him, she could do it. But she never imagined that he would refuse to simply disappear from her life. He insisted on clinging to her, no matter the cost. Like a predator, once he had set his sights on his target, he would never give up. Jiang Linyuan threw away all pride and dignity. All he wanted was for Mu Jin to love him. "You promised you'd think about me." Jiang Linyuan shamelessly squeezed into Mu Jin's rented apartment. "And back then, you were the one who didn't want me. You insisted on accusing me of not loving you, then abandoned me for all these years. You have to make it up to me..." His unreasonable antics made Mu Jin pace around in frustration. But the man's hair was soaked by the downpour, and he looked nothing like the stern, humorless technical expert from the lecture. His drenched shirt clung to him, outlining his muscles, and Mu Jin couldn't bring herself to throw him out. He lowered his head like a puppy that had lost its home and pleaded, "Are you going to abandon me again?" Jiang Linyuan undid the top two buttons of his shirt. Rainwater slid over his chest as he moved. "A passerby's umbrella just hit my shoulder. Come see if I'm hurt." A slightly sly, seductive male lead X a single-minded, career-focused female lead. Theme: People in love will always find each other.
