Differentiating into an Omega in a Normal World

[Ongoing story 'The Little Merman'; you can find the upcoming story on my author page.]

Song Chen is handsome and comes from a wealthy family. He's a little bad-tempered, but he's also an excellent student, until he transfers schools and ends up in the same class as Chen Lang.

Chen Lang is taller than him, has more admirers, and worst of all, he always comes first in every exam, with Song Chen coming second. He kept beating him for over a year.

Song Chen can't stand the sight of Chen Lang.

But then Song Chen comes down with a strange illness. He gets dizzy and feverish, with a weak back and aching legs. The only thing that helps is getting close to Chen Lang, hugging him and breathing in his crisp, rain-washed scent.

Song Chen: This can't be real!

Chen Lang returns midway through gym class and sees Song Chen hugging his jacket and sniffing it deeply, looking completely lovestruck.

Chen Lang loses a pair of wristbands he likes and plans to buy a new pair. By chance, he spots half of a wristband peeking out from under Song Chen's long sleeve. It looks familiar, almost exactly like the pair he lost.

At home with a fever, Chen Lang hears a knock at the door. When he opens it, he sees Song Chen, who is always at odds with him, standing there with a flushed face, looking both pitiful and fierce as he says,

"Chen Lang, hold me..."
