[Demon Slayer Focus] The Mountain Wind Is Utterly Confused

Lying beneath a tree, stretching out, and tugging at the wild boar mask on my head, I idly think, “King of the forest. Now that's cool.” But I know the truth. I'm nothing but data, like a tiny bug in a program. Onmyoji, Abe no Seimei, Yamata no Orochi... I even get strange update announcements and “new storylines” I should have no way of knowing about. Sometimes, when I pass certain places, I hear mutters I can barely understand, like, “Please, don't let him come again. The whole guild is full of him,” and “He's the only one missing from my collection. When is he going to show up?” But what does knowing any of that change? This is the world I live in, and it's real to me. Worrying about it won't change a thing. Just like those voices say, I'll quietly live each day. Then, someday in the future, I'll answer a summons and help complete someone's collection... or something? With that thought, I close my eyes and drift off to sleep. Just before I fall asleep, countless blue specks of light coil around my body, and my vision goes dark. Only belatedly do I wonder if this is what they call a summoning. I feel my body take shape. I'm just about to strike a cool pose for my summoning animation when the unfamiliar forest, looming darkly before me, catches my attention. ...Where is this? The Onmyoji guild? That's it? A series of babyish cries catches my attention. I see a crying baby on the ground and freeze. So these days, do Onmyoji have to raise their own characters from scratch? Theme: Ridiculous and optimistic, hahaha!
