The Film Queen Wants to Get Back Together with Me

The boss told Xia Zhining to stake out the home of a top female star. She eagerly spent the whole day keeping watch.

She'd thought she might scoop some major news, but instead she saw her ex-girlfriend, Lu Beiyi.

The two women came out of the villa chatting and laughing. Xia Zhining was stunned, and the camera in her hand fell straight to the ground.

Lu Beiyi spotted the panicked Xia Zhining at once.

The moment their eyes met, Xia Zhining bit her lip and took off running.

Lu Beiyi chased her for two whole blocks, drawing countless passersby and fans into the pursuit.

With no other choice, Xia Zhining stopped and glared at Lu Beiyi as she caught up. "What do you mean, chasing me and refusing to let me go?"

Lu Beiyi smiled radiantly, holding the camera Xia Zhining had dropped and forgotten to pick up. "Your camera's broken. I'll replace it."

Blurb two:

When they were young, Xia Zhining was always a ray of light in Lu Beiyi's dark life. How lucky she was to have her.

But eighteen-year-old Lu Beiyi pushed her away. After they reunited years later, the first thing Lu Beiyi thought upon seeing Xia Zhining was: What can I do to have her again?
