In the year she turned twenty-nine, Feng Ling met Lin Yixian, and her long-quiet heart stirred.
She had fallen out with her company and was preparing to terminate her contract when she received an invitation from Sanyi Entertainment, which specifically requested her.
At the end of their meeting, a man came over and ruffled Lin Yixian's hair. Her assistant leaned in to gossip: "That person in charge is very powerful and handsome, but I hear he's been involved with several men and women."
Feng Ling said nothing. She kept her distance from Lin Yixian, finished the job without incident, and then terminated her contract with her old company.
When Lin Yixian found out, she flew to Tokyo. Before returning to China, she asked Feng Ling if she would accept Sanyi Entertainment's offer.
After hesitating, Feng Ling flew alone to Zhongcheng.
By chance, she saw Lin Yixian standing side by side with a man at a party, chatting and laughing. She had no idea how many people had appeared by Lin Yixian's side before him.
She returned to her room, crestfallen, and sighed at how ridiculous she was. She knew what Lin Yixian was like, yet every time Lin Yixian came close, her heart still fluttered.
She began packing to leave, but as soon as she opened the door, she fell into the arms of someone who smelled familiar.
"Does my embrace feel a little warmer today than it did the first time I held you?"

Lin Yixian concealed her identity and worked at the company, where she happened to cross paths with Feng Ling on a project.
One male performer involved in the project had the nerve to announce in front of everyone, "I'm going to pursue Feng Ling. Don't any of you try to steal her from me."
Lin Yixian stood nearby with her arms folded and sneered. "Why should I give her to you?"

Lin Yixian had just decided to take a step back and make peace with Feng Ling as a friend. But at that very moment, Feng Ling kept drawing closer, and even caught her at her most pathetic, having given up on herself.
Letting the alcohol take over, Lin Yixian said a whole lot of things she didn't mean. When she sobered up, Feng Ling had pinned her to the sofa, radiating confidence.
