Gu Chaochao was caught up in a medical dispute and hit over the head. When he woke up, he found himself in a wondrous world where fluffy little creatures roamed everywhere.
He came across several fluffy creatures on the brink of death.
One was blind, one had a bad leg, one was losing its fur, and another was injured. In short, not a single one was in good shape.
As the only human in this world, he resolutely took up the banner of saving the fluffy creatures!
He worked hard to grow crops, build houses, and get production going. He bathed and brushed the fluffy creatures, bandaged their wounds, told them stories, and soothed them to sleep.
Their initial wariness, fear, and rejection gradually gave way to trust, affection, and dependence.
But without exception, once they had recovered, they would quietly disappear.
He had no idea...
The blind little tiger he saved was a renowned God of War across the stars.
The little lion with the bad leg was the future emperor of the empire.
The balding little panda he saved was the most cherished youngest son of a powerful family.
The injured little kitten he saved was the last precious nine-tailed fox in the stars.

After humanity went extinct, animals evolved and came to rule the world.
To save the people suffering from mental illness, the Federation and the Empire joined forces to develop a virtual game.
Those who cleared the game would be cured of their illnesses. Those who failed to advance would lose their lives.
Gu Chaochao didn't know that when the fluffy creatures he had saved awoke from their recovery pods, every single one of them called out his name.
"You saved me in the game. Outside it, let me save you in return."
