When you open your eyes, you see raging flames, and gunshots weave together a requiem for life.
Have you ever seen a stunning flower blooming among white bones?
A chirping sparrow, not even worthy of being called a stray dog. An abandoned house sparrow, a wanderer with nowhere to return to.
Yabuki Tokiki is a soft and adorable young boy with a supernatural ability. He conceals himself among the members of the Armed Detective Agency, thanks to his innate, strange, and powerful financial talents. He claims to be the agency's financial assistant, and is best at solving problems with money.
“Problems you can solve with money aren't problems!” says Yabuki Tokiki.
“Tokiki's ability might be something like ‘any money he handles doubles,’” says Dazai Osamu.
Meanwhile, Nakajima Atsushi has sent in a complaint that “Tokiki may have trouble understanding people!” He can also personally attest to just how “nice Ryunosuke Akutagawa is despite looking cold, and how much he likes sweets.”
So, are you ready to listen to the story that belongs to Yabuki Tokiki?
A few notes beforehand:
1. Updates will be slow, and I have no chapters stockpiled.
2. I don't know when I'll start, but I'm a little stuck writing about swords, so I want to try something else.
3. Any out-of-character behavior is my fault! The protagonist's intelligence is equal to the author's, and the author has no intelligence! I can't understand Dazai and the others' schemes!
4. This is part of a twin series. My writing partner hasn't started her story yet. I'll link it once she does.
