[Crossover] A Snake's Observations of Everyday Human Life

2022.2.11 The new school term is coming up again, and I'm busy with my studies. But something about the earlier chapters doesn't feel right, so I plan to make a few changes.

Blurb:

Possibly no CP.

This is a story about someone who transmigrates into the original Serpent and gradually becomes divine,

but, having nothing to interest him, voluntarily lets Takamagahara seal him away.

While sealed, events involving a shrine maiden, Ibuki, and an onmyoji

make the Serpent curious about humans, so he decides to observe them.

He's Chaotic Neutral.

Excerpt:

Darkness, as if ink had been dripped into his eyes.

He couldn't see a thing. Even what fell within his gaze was only darkness.

Click. The sound of bones knocking together. It suddenly reminded him that he wasn't "him."

It seemed to have been a sunny day when he fell into a fissure that appeared out of nowhere and ended up inside this shell.

But sunny? After spending so long in the dark, he no longer remembered what that looked like.

Lost in thought, he heard a cat meow.

"Ibuki, you've brought someone." A little cat stood in front, with a soul on the verge of shattering behind it.

The cat's pupils shrank. "Save him!"

"Hmph." He took human form and stood in front of the cat.

"I'll help you hide this from Takamagahara! Save him!" Ibuki was getting impatient. He didn't know how things stood with the onmyoji now, but given what things were like before the onmyoji disappeared, they couldn't be good.

Or perhaps the fact that the onmyoji could still remain here was the best possible outcome.

"You know me, Ibuki. I don't care." He said it offhandedly.

Notes:

1. The Serpent has temporarily sealed away his own memories for a reason. OOC warning.

2. The Serpent's CP is undecided, may or may not happen, you can pick a favorite.

3. Some characters have one-sided feelings for the Serpent.

Theme: Just wanted to write about Orochi.
