Try the first chapter!] Shen Lingqing, master of Wugui Mountain, spent a lifetime diligently cultivating the Heartless Dao. To prove her Dao, she went through three tribulations of love, endured every sweet-talking temptation, and left with her sleeves clean, while every peach blossom fell by the wayside. Yet on the day she was to prove her Dao, her application was rejected. The Heavenly Dao asked: "Shen Lingqing, master of Wugui Mountain, is about to ascend to the Great Dao. Does anyone object?" The young emperor: "I object! At the mountain god temple..." The sword master of the immortal sect: "I object! By the sword-washing pool..." The demon lord of Linyuan: "I object! In the wilds of the Three Ruins..." The Heavenly Dao: "I don't understand. Explain in detail." (Three months later...) The Heavenly Dao: "Shen Lingqing, you're not heartless enough. Go break their hearts once more, and this time you'll definitely ascend." The three men: "...What the hell!" Theme: Striving upward.
