[Naruto] I Told You Not to Despair

Despised by both friend and foe, with no family or companions who would mourn him, the man was all alone. The person most important to him died, his dream could never come true, and he spent his whole life being used. In the end, he met a tragic fate.

System (tapping the blackboard): "So, what's our goal?"

Me: "Keep him healthy, help his career go well, and make him happy in love. Whatever he wants, give it to him. We're going to help this little sapling grow into a towering tree."

System: "Exactly, that's the spirit. Now that I know you get me, I can relax."

A few years later

System: "Relax, my ass! Stop! You're supposed to give him hope, not make him even more desperate! Oh no! He's crying blood! He's awakened the Mangekyo! He's going to turn evil and destroy the world! Hurry up and tell him you're okay!"

Me: "..."

How am I supposed to tell him when I'm not even breathing, buddy?

Theme: We have all run away at some point.
