Trembling in a corner, Lizi glimpsed a mountain spirit devouring Granny. The mountain spirit licked its lips and stared greedily at her. "Hee hee hee, that was delicious. Now for another one." She closed her eyes in despair, waiting for the pain she knew was coming. Then a hand gently stroked her head. When she opened her eyes, she saw a young man as radiant as moonlight. "Are you the mountain spirit from just now? Are you going to eat me?" she asked anxiously. The young man gave her a sly wink. "I'm human, just like you. As for whether I'll eat you..." He curled his lips into a smile. "I'll give it some serious thought." That year, Seimei was still studying Onmyodo at his master's school. He had yet to become the great onmyoji feared by all demons. P.S. The monsters are all traditional Japanese yokai. You don't need to know anything about onmyoji to enjoy the story.
