When My Heart Stirs

[Proud, polite, and pure-hearted male lead X gentle, scheming troublemaker female lead] Yu Yiqing had always had a crush on someone, but because of his personality, ever since they were kids he had kept every girl at least a mile away. So she buried her feelings deep inside, never letting them stir again. Years later, she never expected to run into him at a matchmaking date. She was supposed to meet Ji Mingzhi, but Xie Hongye showed up instead. Yu Yiqing recognized him at a glance. Ignoring her pounding heart, she stood up calmly and warmly held out her hand. "Are you Mr. Ji? I'm Yu Yiqing." Xie Hongye stared at her slender, delicate hand as if facing a great enemy. His gaze darted about uncertainly, and in the end he met the hand Yu Yiqing had extended with... a high five. "...?" "Ahem, hello. I'm... Ji Mingzhi." Yu Yiqing fell silent for a moment, staring at the hand they'd just high-fived. Then she looked at Xie Hongye, whose eyes remained fixed on the corner of the table, and smiled. Her gaze was still gentle, but now there was something in it like a falcon locking onto its prey. What should have been a short date kept going. By the time night fell, Xie Hongye had somehow walked her all the way to her doorstep before leaving. 1. One-on-one, both leads' first time, happy ending. 2.
