Blurb

As everyone knows, Patch, the former head of the System Oversight Bureau, had a terrible temper and was not to be messed with. Countless bugs had been caught and destroyed by him.

The cunning protagonist golden finger bug was the only oddball who managed to escape Patch time and again.

Yu Yu, once a big shot at the System Oversight Bureau, disappeared into a vast data stream during a sudden space-time maelstrom a thousand years ago. The Bureau has searched for him with all its might, but has yet to find a single clue.

The former protagonist golden finger bug infiltrated the System Registration Bureau and reinvented himself as the "Good Days" System, graduating with flying colors. On the surface, he touts the slogan "Bringing good days to the overlooked," but in reality, he has been secretly cleaning up the cannon fodder around the protagonists of various worlds.

Then one day, the amnesiac Yu Yu is chosen by the "Good Days" System as its new Host, and all its plans and schemes slowly begin to fall apart.

[Bonus scene]

Yu Yu: Hey, System, are you a professional?

Good Days: You can question everything about me, but you can't question my professionalism. I came from a certified batch. Show some evidence before you make accusations!

Yu Yu: Tsk, look at you getting worked up. You're getting worked up, you're getting worked up x10086

Theme: Keep improving yourself and keep striving.
