Streaming the First Emperor's Afterlife from the Start

[Set to begin between January and February 2025]

In 221 BC, King Zheng of Qin swept through the Six States, ending the centuries of division and fragmentation among the feudal lords that had persisted since the Spring and Autumn and Warring States periods, and bringing the realm together under one rule.

That very day, golden light descended from the heavens, revealing an unknown side of the world to everyone.

"Hello, everyone. This is the Yellow Springs Livestream. I'm your host, Yan Ruixi. As everyone knows, all famous historical figures come to the Yellow Springs after they die. Three hundred years ago, we welcomed the First Emperor, hailed as the greatest emperor in history. Two hundred and fifty years ago, we welcomed Emperor Wu of Han, who is considered his equal. One hundred years ago, we welcomed Emperor Taizong of Tang, another figure whose name is remembered throughout history. Before, after, and between them, we have welcomed countless other people who made their mark on history."

"To help everyone learn more about these historical figures, we have arranged a series of activities and interviews. Today, I'll be taking you to Xianyang Palace, where the First Emperor lives. We'll ask him three questions."

"First, how does he feel knowing that Zhao Gao and Li Si conspired to forge an imperial edict, forcing Fusu to commit suicide and putting Huhai on the throne, which led to the Qin dynasty falling after only two generations?"

"Second, what is the relationship between the First Emperor and Li Si like now?"

"Third, if he had the chance to start over, would he still choose Li Si as his chancellor?"

Yan Ruixi is the daughter of the Lord of the Yellow Springs. She is responsible for welcoming historical figures and looking after their lives in the afterlife.

Seeing how they spent their time after arriving in the Yellow Springs, Yan Ruixi worried that their lives might be dull, so she started livestreaming their daily lives.

They chat about stories, learn new skills, and share their thoughts on the past.

Unexpectedly, the livestream connected to parallel timelines across various dynasties.

Those historical figures also saw what life in the Yellow Springs was like and learned what might happen in the future.
