The young ladies stare at Shi Wei with red-rimmed eyes as she brutally smashes the stool beside her with her hand.

The young ladies: Who's spreading rumors and ruining Young Master Wang's good name?

Another day, a rumor spreads in Minzhong that a handsome young gentleman is pursuing Shi Wei relentlessly and is madly in love with her.

The young ladies watch Shi Wei pretend to smile behind her handkerchief under the watchful eye of her etiquette tutor.

The young ladies: He must be after the money and influence of the prefect's family!

Another day, a rumor spreads in Minzhong that the man relentlessly pursuing Shi Wei is the general's son.

The young ladies grind their teeth to dust: What? He's so young, and he's already gone blind?
