Before the contract ends, one drunken kiss makes Qin Silin understand completely that their relationship has been nothing but an act.

Ye Shao nearly crushes the glass in his hand.

By the restroom entrance, he pulls her into his arms. The playful look in his eyes suddenly gives way to a blazing intensity.

One day, after losing her memory, Qin Silin moves back into the apartment across from his. Ye Shao is once again left heartbroken.

Day after day, he hears her boyfriend bring her home and sweetly say good night.

When his friend asks how he feels, he can't answer. All he can do is drink himself unconscious again and again.

Then one day Qin Silin knocks on his door, scowling and baring her claws like a little monster.

"Hey, handsome, do me a favor and pretend to be my boyfriend. Come with me to a wedding."

Ye Shao is stunned. Only afterward does he learn that her boyfriend broke up with her because she wasn't gentle or considerate enough.

"I'll be really sweet to you when we see him later. Just go along with it."

At the wedding banquet, her ex-boyfriend sees them and smiles.

"Silin, you still make someone peel shrimp for you? You're used to ordering people around, huh!"

Qin Silin is furious that Ye Shao isn't following the script. Then she sees him calmly set down his bowl, unhurriedly wipe his hands, and smile at her.

"Our Silin deserves to be cherished and adored."
