His husband was oblivious, holding him fast with hands devoid of warmth or color, as if he meant to take him apart, skin and bones, and swallow him whole. *The Day of the End of the Dharma* (Modern setting, snake top X bottom) A world that has been destroyed four times is forever sunless. Humanity has become food for demons, and of all the flavors, the flesh and blood of disciples from immortal sects is the most delicious. After the great demons had sucked down the last plaque of Penglai, the little junior disciple Tang Huang, who'd escaped by sheer luck, became the object of every great demon's desire. Some wanted to devour his flesh, some wanted to feast on his beauty, some would give their lives for a taste of his charms, and some became obsessed after a single glimpse.
