Please Be a Proper Dandy

In Jingyang City, people believe that a woman who goes into business is bound to lose every last penny.

Yao Xiyun refuses to believe it. She even disguises herself as a man to go into business, but she loses money on everything she tries. Branded a good-for-nothing in business, she's mocked by the entire city.

Even her own father won't lend her money.

To make a comeback, Yao Xiyun sets her sights on Tang Jichen, the richest man around, and pesters him relentlessly for a loan.

The refined and elegant Tang Jichen casts her a cold glance and warns her, "Don't waste your effort. I'm not into men!"

Yao Xiyun: "Huh?"

Not long afterward, rumors that Tang Jichen was into men spread throughout Jingyang City. The only son for three generations, he now faced pressure from his family to marry.

Tang Jichen's mother: "If you leave my son, you won't have to repay your debt, and I'll give you extra money on top!"

Yao Xiyun readily agrees. "Sure thing! Thank you, ma'am!"

Tang Jichen grits his teeth and drags her back. "I'll pay you ten times as much to stay."
