[Hunter X Hunter] Starlit Dawn

Her father said he hoped she would be like a palm tree by the sea, always facing the sun and setting her heart on the vast ocean. That was why he named her Xiaolu. So even after arriving in another world, she wouldn’t lose sight of her goal! “Stardust! I’m going to conquer the world!” eleven-year-old Wang Xiaolu declared firmly to the System. Love interest: Killua (Note: One-on-one romance, but several characters will have unrequited feelings for the heroine). The heroine’s mental age is eight, and she has the System’s protection and help. P.S. Thanks to Teacher Goodluck for drawing a new cover for this story as a favor! It’s adorable! Thank you so much!! Content Warnings: You can skip these without affecting your reading experience (probably) 1. The characters’ values are not the author’s values. This isn’t a wish-fulfillment story! There are scenes where the protagonists, not just the heroine, suffer. 2. The writing is understated and conversational, with a slice-of-life feel. Suitable for readers of all ages. 3. There are quite a few explanations that may not be professionally accurate. Please feel free to point out any errors. 4. The characterizations in this story serve its plot and do not represent the original characters. If the source material contradicts anything later on, that’s not my problem. The timeline is what it is, and I won’t revise the story! 5. I absolutely will not update daily! I usually update weekly. If I haven’t updated in over three months and there’s no hiatus notice, something has probably happened. If you can’t reach me, please forget about me. 6. The first few chapters may be a little boring. Read a few dozen more... and they might still be boring, but they should at least help pass the time. 7. The author is a fan of all pairings with the heroine. Killua is a supporting character, so discussing heroine pairings with anyone but Killua in the comments is fine. Pairing Killua with anyone but the heroine is not. 8. Writing is a hobby for the author. I won’t give it up easily, but I do sometimes struggle to write. 9. There are other short Hunter x Hunter fanfics in my collection. You can try reading a short one before starting this story. 10. All settings are a mix of “what the plot requires” and “personal preferences.” If you’re uncomfortable, please leave. 11. You can turn off the author’s notes without affecting your reading experience. Important details will be explained in the story itself. 12. I usually won’t reply to comments on the previous chapter until I’ve updated the next one, because I feel guilty about being late and am afraid to read the comments or spoil things... 13. To be continued (just kidding). Theme: I hope you can find love, courage, hope, and kindness.
