[Hunter X Hunter] The Witch Heiress Chooses to Keep a Low Profile

Sayo was chosen by the world's will. After her memories of reality were blurred, she was thrown into the world of Hunter x Hunter to explore it.

But what should have been a perfectly good record of surviving in another world was thrown into chaos by the [Bewitching Beauty] buff forced on her by the System

Sayo: ????? I actually am pretty strong. You really don't have to...

Illumi: "I thought I warned you before, Sayo. Even if we're working together, stay away from Killua..."

Chrollo: "What exactly is your ability, Sayo? Let me see it for myself..."

Sayo: … Help me!!!! Help!!!! I'm sorry, I'm not strong at all!!!!

Otome-style, no central pairing, a little bit of romance, and lots of weird love-triangle situations.

The girl's innate skill is basically a low-grade version of Tomie syndrome, though she can't split apart. Her S+ luck means one extreme stroke of good luck followed by one extreme stroke of bad luck. She's career-minded, but her innate ability keeps attracting creeps and weirdos who get in the way of her career...

The girl is the author's favorite and won't be put through anything traumatic. If you're going to do it, be the best; if you're going to play, play it wild. Mainly a fun survival story. The romance is there for the sake of romance, and the story follows the main plot, with some original content. (But not much. I don't want my improvisations to mess up the Hunter world and its established rules and content.)

1. This is the author's first fanfic, so OOC characterization is probably unavoidable, but I'll work hard to keep it in check by referring to the original and how most fans understand the characters. My writing is also very amateurish, so please give me suggestions in a kind and calm manner. (I'll gladly take them. I'm really not sure how to handle the Hunter characters getting caught up in romantic entanglements.)

2. The girl is cautious and hypocritical, but absolutely not weak. (Even though she can't die, she's afraid of pain and death and avoids them.) Since she's a manipulator, she does whatever she wants. (She thinks she should do what makes her happy, so she's very hypocritical. She knows it, but likes herself that way.) She also loves to argue. (She talks a lot and thinks she's always right.) No female rivalry or love-brain elements. The girl isn't boy-crazy, and her ideas about love are independent and self-directed. Her views on love: "The best match is someone who's useful to me, someone I'm useful to in return, and someone I can have a future with." She's also the type to lose interest in people easily, so she may seem like a player. If you don't like that, don't read.

3. On the surface, the girl seems like a cheerful, considerate, funny beauty who loves to make sarcastic remarks. In reality, she's a fake, meticulous self-interested individualist. (Nobody matters more than she does; she loves herself most.) She treats people she finds interesting very well, but won't give them everything. She's a career-obsessed workaholic, and everything she does is for herself. If you don't like this kind of character, don't read.
