He was handsome and ranked first in the whole school, a classic star student. On top of that, he was aloof, hitting every one of Ning Xi's buttons. The bar was set so high that afterward, Ning Xi could never quite get along with any other guy. A friend once asked her, "If you liked him so much, why didn't you get together back then?" Ning Xi fell unusually quiet, then finally answered after a long while. "I guess I was insecure." Ning Xi had wondered whether things would turn out differently if the person she was now met Huo Zhun. ...The result was the same. At a blind date, Ning Xi never expected her date to be Huo Zhun. Seeing him in a white shirt and black trousers, sitting across from her with a composed expression, Ning Xi got cold feet all over again. What she didn't know was that before the date, someone had asked Huo Zhun, "You still can't let her go? You even came all this way to chase her." Huo Zhun looked at Ning Xi walking past the window and gave a quiet, "Mm." A little extra: On a talk show, a host interviewed Ning Xi, who had already made a name for herself in the art world, and asked whether her paintings published seven years earlier had anything to do with her youth. Ning Xi looked at Huo Zhun in the audience and smiled as she admitted it. "That really was my youth. It just wasn't as beautiful as people think." "I once stood in the shadows, gazing up at my moon. I was even terrified when its light fell on me. But later I wanted to climb to the mountain peak and stand beside the moon. I wanted my moon to shine on me forever." tips: They didn't get together in high school. They agreed to start dating after graduation, so there is no underage romance. Theme: You shouldn't feel insecure in love. Believe in yourself, and believe in the person you love.
