[Detective Conan Fanfiction: Qin and Xin] A Clash of Equals

Blurb:

In an era lacking justice and rife with violence, the people of New York face the purest good and the cruelest evil. No one is innocent, and no one can escape the filth and grime in the polluted air.

Shinichi Kudo, a boy detective hailed as the light of the age, uses his intelligence and talent to outwit all manner of criminals. Serial killers with every kind of pathological disorder, kidnappers, madmen, and arsonists are all brought to justice by the boy. Only one evil of the century remains beyond his reach.

That man is handsome, cold-hearted, and extraordinarily talented. Behind him lies a fortune beyond counting, and he has the power to control the entire underworld. He has never killed anyone with his own hands, yet he seems to cast a shadow over every case. He is the unseen ruler of darkness.

In this clash of equals, who will come out on top? Can the light of the age defeat the evil of the century? When all is said and done, what will remain in the golden fields of wheat?

Whatever the outcome, the boy has always believed that evil cannot triumph over good, and that justice will always prevail.
